It began with a diagnosis, a genetic test, and a name for something that had quietly run in the family for two generations. The research existed — thin, underfunded, and moving at the pace of whatever grant cycle it could survive on. Nobody was in a hurry, because nobody had to be.
Prognosis Health exists because that pace wasn't acceptable. What started as one disease turned into a pattern: dozens of rare, genetically-driven conditions stuck in the same underfunded holding pattern, too small a market for anyone else to prioritize. It's funded personally, run lean, and built around one job across all of them: find the root cause, fund what it takes to treat it, and get that treatment to the people who need it.
